Supervisor Reservation

Responsibilities
As the initial customer contact, Athens Airways Reservations Supervisor is the forefront of passenger sales and customer service.
- Athens Airways Reservations Supervisor are responsible for:
- Responding to customer needs, answering questions, planning travel itineraries and resolving customer issues over the phone
- The Reservation Supervisor is to provide consistent supervision of the Reservations Staff daily, act as liaison between staff & management, and offer support to other departments.
- Promoting and selling Athens Airways services
- Ensuring a positive customer experience worldwide
Qualifications
The Athens Airways Reservations Sales Agent position requires the following:
- At least 25 years of age
- Advanced level education with a minimum of 5 years airline experience, of which at least 2 years should be as a supervisor in reservation and ticketing
- Advanced fares and ticketing certificate from IATA or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Front Office systems / Airline Reservation systems.
- Knowledge of world geography and major carrier networks to facilitate quick itinerary planning.
- Interpersonal ability, team management, telephone and customer service skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Ability to read, write and speak Greek and English
- Ability to pass extensive background check and drug screen
- Clear and effective communication skills with customers
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong leadership skills

Supervisor Airport Services
ATH-Customer Service
ATH Athens International Airport (code: S.A.S)
Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring the Athens Airways product is delivered consistently to demanding service level standards and on time performance targets.
- Identify and implement continuous improvements
- Strict application of all operational, safety & security, immigration policies and procedures.
- Act as point of contact for clients
- Taking responsibility for actions and following these through to completion
- Ownership of a robust communication process within client supervisorΆs team and staff
- Meet all station goals relating to On-Time Performance, Baggage Delivery, and Customer Service.
- Maintains good relationships with vendors to ensure their coordination/cooperation of company expectations.
- Performs administrative duties and other special functions as delegated and requested by the Station Manager.
Qualifications
- 5 years Experience in Airport Ground Handling
- Experience using check-in systems
- Fluent in Greek and English (other languages a plus)
- Well organized, meticulous, able to work on their own initiative
- Ability to recognize and deal with challenges promptly and efficiently
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Computer literate
- Greek nationality
- Position based in Athens
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Must possess ability to interact effectively with employees, vendors and customers.
- Must demonstrate excellent leadership, motivational and administrative skills.
- Must be able to work all cross utilized positions in cross utilized stations.
- Demonstrate willingness to work all shifts and perform above and beyond in all situations.
- Knowledge of company policy and procedures.
- Good understanding of all aspects of Airport Operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
