Louis Group was founded in 1935, by the late Louis Loizou, acknowledged as ‘’the Father of Cyprus Tourism’’.

o Louis Cruises is Louis Group’s arm in the cruising industry and its 5 cruise ships provide a “Sea of Memories” to hundreds of passengers in the Mediterranean.
o Louis Hotels is the group’s subsidiary in the hotel industry, owning and operating 19 hotels in Greece and Cyprus with a capacity exceeding 12.500 beds and which includes the Hilton Park hotel in Nicosia.

Louis Cruises
Louis started operating short cruises out of Limassol, Cyprus to the Eastern Mediterranean from the early 70s. Louis Cruises has over the years evolved and expanded its cruise programmes. Today, with a fleet of 5 cruise ships, it operates cruises from the ports of Piraeus and Limassol. Two of the cruise ships of Louis Cruises, namely “Thomson Spirit” and “Thomson Majesty” are under charters to Thomson Cruises of TUI AG.
From the Port of Piraeus, Louis Cruises sails to the Greek islands of Mykonos, Santorini, Patmos, Rhodes, Crete and the Turkish ports of Istanbul, Izmir and Kusadasi. It is today the Greek island and Turkey specialist in the cruise industry with a Hellenic identity and invites its passengers for a genuine cruise experience in its very own home waters.
Its strategic alliances with the leading Tour Operators have significantly strengthened the position of Louis Cruises in the international cruising market. Costakis Loizou Executive Chairman of Louis Group was awarded the prestigious ‘European Pioneer award’ by the International Society of Hospitality Consultants for Louis Cruises’ contribution in opening cruising to the wider tourism population.
In 2011 Louis Cruises became member of the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA). Additionally, Louis Cruises during the annual Lloyds List Greek Shipping Awards was awarded the “2010 Passenger Line of the year”.
Finally, the company received for two consecutive years the notable Conde Nast Travellers’ Choice Award.
Louis Hotels
Louis Hotels currently owns and operates 19 Hotels throughout Cyprus and Greece. The total of 19 Mediterranean units comprise of 4 & 5 star hotels, 9 of which in 6 unique Greek islands and 10 hotels all around Cyprus.
In Greece, Louis Hotels offers leisure and family holidays, all-inclusive and business stay in the following destinations: Corfu, Zakynthos (Zante), Rhodes, Crete and Mykonos.
The Hilton Park hotel in Nicosia is also a member of Louis Hotels and is the focus of the social and financial activity in Cyprus.
Today, the company operates 9 hotels in Greece most of them owned and is the largest hotel chain in both Cyprus and Greece together. The addition to the Group of the Mykonos Theoxenia, marks the beginning of a new era, that of operating deluxe Boutique hotels.
