Altair Travel S.A. is looking for a Travel Agent

As a travel agent, you will be responsible for handling customer requests over emails, chat & phone while interacting with the ticketing systems (GDS). Among this, the person will be responsible for dealing with more complex cases & escalating difficult scenarios internally to the organization. As a part of the team of travel consultants, your role is to offer bundled travel services to all customers.

Main responsibilities:

• Receive & process incoming emails & Chats.
• Communicate with the customers over the telephone to provide proposals & available options for their travel needs.
• Manage flight cancellations and re-bookings.
• Process daily operational tasks

Requirements:

• At least 1-3 years experience as a Travel Agent
• Advanced knowledge of at least 1 GDS (Amadeus, Travelport, Sabre)
• Troubleshooting & analytical skills
• An eye for details
• Critical thinking
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be fluent in Greek & English languages
• Desired knowledge of Farelogix & Liknoss/ Certus

Nice to have:

• Previous Experience in a Travel Agency (OTA/TA)
• Experienced in the Customer Care sector
• IATA Certified and written communication skills
