A major player in the local tourism service industry, based in Rhodes, with a network of customers throughout Europe, is looking to recruit a:
Contracts Manager
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Male or female with excellent knowledge of both English & Greek languages. The candidate should have previous experience in the tourism industry, ideally in a position dealing with hotel’s contracting both with traditional and on-line booking operators. Excellent use of PCs is considered crucial, as is also the know-how of trends & practices of e-booking systems. A business or tourism related degree will be considered as an additional asset. The ideal individual should have very good interpersonal communication & negotiation skills, be able to concentrate on multiple tasks, to achieve set targets, and should have excellent time management and problem solving skills. The ability to learn new skills, to accept responsibility and to take action within authorization limits are also higly valued characteristics. The ability to travel all over Greece is essential.
THE POSITION
After extensive on the job training on the company’s systems & processes, he/she will start developing contracts, making presentations and contracting hotel beds both in Rhodes and the rest of Greece, reporting weekly and monthly performance, follow-up contracts, and identifying new business opportunities based in ongoing market reviews.
An attractive remuneration package, including bonus upon achievement of specific targets, will be offered to the successful candidate, according to qualifications and experience.
